Our Charity of the Year is: St Mungo’s Broadway
For the last few years we have been working with St Mungo’s Broadway, and will continue to do so for the near future. The work St Mungo's Broadway is doing is tremendous. The issue is close to our hearts as homelessness cannot go unnoticed when walking through the streets of London. In the last 12 months we have raised over £1000 to go towards their good work.
Here is a summary of the charity's work, in their own words:
St Mungo’s Broadway believes that no one should be homeless and that people can – and do – recover from the issues that create homelessness.
St Mungo’s Broadway provides a bed and support to more than 2,500 people each night who are either homeless or at risk. We go straight to the causes of homelessness, tackling poverty, ill health and unemployment. We support men and women through more than 250 projects including:
- Emergency, hostel and supportive housing projects
- Advice services
- Specialist physical and mental health services
- Skills and work services

Our people have skills and energy that can make a real difference to the communities we’re based in. By working alongside local charities, schools and not-for-profit groups, we’re able to focus our efforts and resources for the greatest impact.
This year we’re keen to increase the level of volunteering and pro-bono work we do, if you have a project you think we can be of help to please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
We take the environment very seriously and have taken several steps to improve our performance. We already have a wide-ranging recycling policy in place and we will be introducing dual monitors to reduce our waste further.
