When payday lenders hit the headlines for offering loans to SMEs, BDRC used Business Opinion Omnibus to question SME's appetite for this line of credit.

This provided a really strong headline and story which concluded that 91% of SMEs with an appetite for borrowing were unlikely to consider a payday lender as a supplier of finance, with a consensus regarding their reasons.

BDRC’s PR agency, Greenfields, pitched this story to the broadsheets and secured an exclusive with the Telegraph. BDRC was then able to approach PR agencies – key prospects for the Omnibus – with a powerful example of how it can be used as a vehicle to generate PR.
