Visitor experience research for Birmingham Museums Trust

For several years BDRC has conducted annual visitor research on behalf of Birmingham Museums Trust. This has included research at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, Thinktank and five of BMT’s heritage sites.

BDRC’s multi-faceted approach means research can cover a number of key areas, including visitor profiles, motivation, behavior, and opinions. This gives the client a full overview of how they are performing throughout the whole customer journey.

Insights have informed visitor experience planning at each of the sites, marketing and communications strategies, audience development and been used as evidence in support of HLF funding bids.
